Summer Bird Photography Contest: Capture Vibrant Plumage and Behaviours - July and August



Calling all bird enthusiasts and photography lovers! We are excited to announce the Summer Bird Photography Contest hosted by the Birdhouse Store in Brighton, Ontario. With the arrival of July and August, it's the perfect time to immerse yourself in birdwatching and showcase your photography skills. Capture our feathered friends' vibrant plumage and fascinating behaviours during these summer months, and stand a chance to win an exciting prize - a gift card to The Birdhouse Nature Store! Contest Details:

    • Theme: The contest theme is "Summer Bird Photography: Vibrant Plumage and Behaviours." We want you to capture birds' beauty and unique moments during July and August. Show us their vibrant colours, intricate patterns, and captivating behaviours.

    • How to Enter:

      • Follow @TheBirdhouseNature on Take your best bird photographs during July and August.

      • Post your photo(s) on Facebook and Instagram using the hashtag #BirdhousePhotoContest and tag @TheBirdhouseNature on facebook and instagram

 

  • Guidelines:

 

    • Photographs must be taken in July or August and showcase birds in their natural habitat.

    • Multiple entries are allowed, so feel free to share your best shots!

    • The photographs should be original work and not infringe copyright or intellectual property rights.

    • By entering the contest, participants grant the Birdhouse Store permission to share and feature their submitted photographs on social media platforms, giving proper credit to the photographers.

Deadline: The contest opens on July 1st and closes on August 31st, 2023, at 11:59 PM EST. Entries submitted after the deadline will not be considered.

 

Prize:

  • The winner will receive a $100 gift card to the Birdhouse Store in Brighton, Ontario.

  • The winning photograph will be featured on the Birdhouse Store's social media platforms and website, with due credit to the photographer.

Judging:

A panel of expert bird enthusiasts from the Birdhouse Store will review all the entries based on the following criteria:

  • Adherence to the contest theme

  • Creativity and originality

  • Composition and technical proficiency

  • The overall impact and wow factor

     

    Winner Announcement:The winner will be announced on the Birdhouse Store's social media platforms within two weeks after the contest closes. The selected participant will be contacted directly for prize distribution.
