Andrea Kingsley - Wildlife Photographer

Andrea has a strong background in biology and natural history interpretation through environmental consultant jobs, teaching, research, and volunteer positions. Andrea has an MSc in biology, which involved studying the effects of uniform shelterwood logging on the birds of Algonquin Provincial Park, where she was also a park naturalist.

Andrea has lived and worked across Canada and Ontario. This has given her a strong knowledge of birds and their songs from many habitats and from many areas of the country.

Andrea is also an artist who expresses her love of nature through various art forms. Her illustrations are featured in several publications, including a comprehensive dragonfly identification guide of Algonquin Provincial Park, the first of its kind at the time in Canada. She has always been interested in photography, but the past few years she has been focussing on that art form.

Andrea currently is a biologist in Brighton, Ontario who is happy to take people out on private guided walks. https://www.shrewsolutions.com/andrea-kingsley
