Outside of Black Oil, Safflower is a favorite for Cardinals and other Grosbeaks. Other birds that will eat are Chickadees and nuthatches, purple and house finches and doves. Squirrels don't like it but chipmunks if they find it will hoover it fast! Grackles and Starlings don't like it either so its a great food to have in a feeder on its own to keep these bully birds away.
